Did you know that only 1.7% of all students in New York are identified as gifted? Too many children remain unidentified or under-served due to a lack of funding for resources or programs targeted toward them. Unfortunately, there is no mandate or funding for identification or services for these students in our state – meaning that far too many futures are left up to chance.

This needs to change!
We at GiftedNYS strive to bring about this change. With your help, we’ll grow the understanding of the needs of gifted students, make policy changes, and create communities so all children can reach their fullest potential!
