This was an interactive session, led by Dr. Elissa Brown, to provide an update on New York’s General Assembly 2024 session activities which have implications for gifted and talented students. We provided a high level overview and then specifically focused on GiftedNYS’ recommendations for modifying current statutes as well as advocacy efforts around specific proposed legislative bills.
